After having no plans to get another dog for at least a year Max came along 8 weeks after Runa. After I adopted Runa he became very depressed and missed her as they had bonded and become soul mates at the rescue in Romania.

Max was born on the streets with his brother and sister and they were all adopted in Romania where they were found chained up outside and had all suffered abuse from their previous owner.

Thankfully they were all rescued and his brother and sister were soon adopted in Scotland. Max sadly was poisoned after they suspected someone had thrown rat poison into his enclosure which he ate, luckily he was found in time and is now fit and healthy again.

He has been a joy from day one and his only flaw is he loves every dog and he can't understand why he is not allowed to greet them all. He is also one of the laziest dogs I have ever met and would much rather spend his whole day snuggled beside you than go outside.
