Last but not least is the little MaeMae. I fell in love with her after I got Max but waited a year before deciding she would fit perfectly with Max and Runa. She was handed into one of the Public Shelters with her brother and was in the Red Bar Section which means she is given 7 days before being euthanised. Somehow she managed to escape the pens and was running free around the Shelter, her brother was too weak and sadly passed away from Distemper.  Mae ran around around for weeks before the rescue managed to catch her and they had been told that Mae was just an ugly, unwanted stray so not to bother with her.

I took her home and helped gain her trust where she grew into a wonderful, sweet little dog.

She has been the easiest of the three and from the second she was introduced to Max and Runa they became best friends. She has a very cheeky side and I usually find at least one sock under my bed thanks to Mae!
